Author: Gigot Newsletters

The 2015-2016 school year we will have three EIR’s on campus for students, alumni, faculty and staff to meet with and discuss new business start-up ideas.

The three EIRs that will be working from the Gigot Center are Bert Bondi, Mark Hubbard and Mike Vogel. They are available to meet on campus by appointment. Appointments can be made by contacting Elisa Landon Podrasky at 574 631 3042 or by email at epodrask@nd.edu.

We also have a group of Virtual EIR”s who are available to meet virtually (via email or phone). A list of these individuals are listed with bio and contact information on the Gigot Web Site at http://gigot.nd.edu/about-us/resources-for-entrepreneurs/entrepreneurs-in-residence/.

The EIRs provide the following assistance in regular and social focused new business ideas.

*Feedback to those who seek advice with developing proposed business ideas (including business plan reviews) solidifying business strategy, developing the business model and identifying the market position.

*Advice for startups primarily in the very earliest of stages of development, working with aspiring entrepreneurs within the Notre Dame Community to formulate a plan to move potential ventures from idea phase to startup.

*Networking assistance , connecting entrepreneurs to others within and outside the ND community who are better qualified to help them develop and tackle issues surrounding the commercialization of their new ventures, in specific areas such as intellectual property, legal issues(patents, trademarks and copyrights)and funding.

If you have an interest in being an EIR please contact Sam Miller or Karen Slaggert at the Gigot Center.
