It is fairly common for students to keep journals or blogs, especially when traveling, and we wanted to share an Irish Impact blog post from last fall by Alex Walker, MBA ’15.
Not only does Alex speak to the opportunities and challenges working as an intern in a developing context – in this case, Haiti – but he also shares the impact the internship had on him personally and professionally.
If you are interested in more of these stories, please follow Irish Impact on Facebook, Twitter, as well as Wordpress. During the course of the semester we publish twice weekly and aim to include content from practitioners, field experts, and, most importantly, our students.
